Labour – the down with Scotland party

Well, now, I’m truly confused. Are you, dear reader?

Either way, the No camp is suffering a split personality.

Like countries with a two-headed eagle as national emblem they don’t know which way they’re going. Brown tells us he is holding a meeting to decide on a timetable of meetings that will result in a meeting to discuss additional powers they discussed last year, that might well be voted down at a meeting of the House of Commons.

And NO! He. Is. Not. Panicking!!!

Ed Balls tells us we have had our lot. Westminster does, after all, have more important things to consider other than Scotland’s health, such as bombing the hell out of anybody wearing a tea towel on their head.

Gosh! Is that the time already? A week until the vote.

Well if there is no cross party agreement, then isn’t there too much uncertainty about what is on offer and what can be delivered? There are way too many unanswered questions for me.

Having watched the comments pages of the ahem “National” newspapers I came to the conclusion that there would be nothing more on offer to Scotland. We would have had oor tea if you like. The only way for powers was to remove them and we have seen this happen already with the House of Lords. The one thing that I could see was that having told the English that they subsides the Scots there is no way MPs could get new powers for Scotland past their constituents. They can talk about it but if they suggest that they will put them in they will not be elected, end of.
Have to say caught small parts of the BBC extra programme last night and it is just as well that Gordon and Lamont were talking to themselves and those that are too stupid to understand they are being fleeced because the skilful insertion of a YES supporter would have lightened the whole experience which was as embarrassing as anything I have seen with GB in it. Johann needs to get her teeth seen to, you somehow imagine being in the position she is in she would, it might make her smile more and grimace less.
