Anniversary

How time flies. Grouse Beater’s essays appeared in support of Scotland’s liberty 8 years ago to this day. Thank you readers for your continuing interest and support, but I’d to think there will be no need of a 10th anniversary because this nation will be independent again. Ho hum.

Outside a few moments of unexpected grief, it’s been mostly joy at reaching out to like minds, and convincing doubters of the justice in a free country. And while I have your attention and good wishes, this is a good moment to pimp my book, the first of two, new and old essays, past essays extended. The new book is published in Spring, so buy the edition now to avoid buying two later.

Β£20 plus Β£5 for post and package is a bargain considering I don’t ask for donations, but instead survive by the sweat of my brow and what’s inside it. If you have not ordered a copy – why not?

You can buy direct from Amazon Books – who handle sales, though the book is published in Poland. Or order a signed copy from: garwarscot@hotmail.com Why dither when you can own it?

“Of all the bloggers writing about Scotland’s political future, only the one called ‘Grouse Beater’ has insight into human nature. The author writes fluently with wit and charm as good as any poet. There you will find polemic that is memorable and thought-provoking.” Professor Henry Walton, Emeritus Professor of Psychology

    Worth every penny!
Nearly finished though , so you need to write another!

  4. Arrived safely the other day, despite your efforts with th PO last week. Sorting Office and covid at this end hung it to for a while. But it’s on the TBR pile, and certain to jump the queue. Then Vol 2…

A book of essays is perfect reading to fill the wee spaces in a busy week, Keith! πŸ™‚

  6. Grouse Beater says:

That was quick. I shall have to employ five or more syllable words next time to force you to stop every-so-often to check a dictionary. πŸ™‚
